Trade Show Booth Photography at the Georgia World Congress Center: What We Shot for Westfalia at MODEX 2026
A trade show booth costs a lot to design, ship and staff, and most companies come home with a few phone photos taken at 4 pm when the floor is quiet. Good booth photos keep working long after the show: on LinkedIn the same week, in the sales deck, in next year’s booth planning and in the pitch to get budget for the next show.
In April 2026 we photographed Westfalia’s booth at MODEX 2026, which took over all three halls of the Georgia World Congress Center from April 13 to 16. Here is how we approach booth coverage, and what we would tell any exhibitor heading into a show in Atlanta.
1. Photograph the booth before the doors open
The cleanest shot of your booth is the one nobody is standing in. We start 20 to 30 minutes before the hall opens: wide shots from the aisle, the corners, the graphics, the product displays and the details your designers spent weeks on. This is the set your marketing team and your booth builder will want.
2. Come back at the busiest hour
An empty booth photo shows the design. A busy booth photo shows the result. We ask the team which hour is usually the busiest (often late morning on day one or right after a keynote) and come back to photograph visitors at the counter, product demos and conversations with your sales team.
3. Get the product working, not just standing
At a show like MODEX, the products move: robots, conveyors, automated storage. Photos of equipment in motion, with a visitor watching, are the ones that get shared. We time these with your demo schedule.
4. Photograph your people
Your sales team is at the booth all day in matching shirts with good lighting nearby. That is the easiest moment of the year to get consistent team photos and quick headshots, without booking a separate session back at the office.
5. Post during the show, not a week later
Trade show content performs best while the show is still happening and attendees are still searching the hashtag. A same-day set of 10 to 15 edited photos, delivered within 2 hours of the end of the day, lets your marketing team post on day one and day two. The full gallery follows in 2 to 3 business days.
6. Include the show floor
A few wide photos of the hall, the entrance and the crowd give context: they show the scale of the show you chose to be at. At MODEX we photographed the show floor around the booth as well as the booth itself.
What booth coverage costs
For most exhibitors, 2 to 4 hours spread across the busiest parts of the day is enough. Our corporate rate is $225 per hour with a 2-hour minimum, a same-day social set is $250, and booth headshots are available from $300 per hour. There is no travel fee within metro Atlanta, which includes the Georgia World Congress Center, Cobb Galleria Centre and AmericasMart. See full pricing.

FAQ
Do you need an exhibitor badge to photograph the booth?
Usually yes. Most shows issue exhibitor or service-provider badges through the exhibitor; we will tell you what we need once we know the show.
Can you photograph several days?
Yes. Many exhibitors book a short block each day rather than one long day.
Can you cover the booth and a speaking session at the same time?
Yes. We work as a two-photographer team when the schedule needs it.
